BLUE BELL INN

The Blue Bell was built circa 1840 and first recorded as The Blue Bell Inn in 1851, it is now a Grade II listed building.

Located in Embleton, a quaint village nestled just a mile from the breathtaking Northumberland coast, our dog-friendly pub features an extensive selection of beers and lagers including a selection of real ales as well as a restaurant serving traditional pub food.

Embleton Bay’s expansive sandy beach is only a short walk away, while the majestic ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle create a dramatic and beautiful backdrop for this coastal gem.

Easily accessible by car on the Northumberland Coastal Route, this route runs right through the centre of Embleton Village and leads North towards Seahouses. Embleton is approximately 8 miles from Alnwick.
